Third week is, nearly, complete and we had another great two-meet week. Hidden Valley is a lot like us, they train outdoors, and have a limited number of “year-round” athletes. Madison, on the other hand offers a year-round program (similar to JCSC, MA, SCY and DCTS). Regardless, we moved through the water with great effort in all age-groups.
As we move from one week to the next, it’s incredible to see the amount of progress we’ve made. Especially in our new-to-swimming athletes. Bronze and Pre-comp crews are working on breaststroke, while silver and gold are continuing to develop strokes, improve technique and relay exchanges.
Improvement is everywhere across our team, even in the short timeframe we have. Let’s continue to work hard as we move through the final week of the season and focus in on the last three meets. If you haven’t signed up for the conference championship meet, please do so! We’d love to have you as we race towards the finish line.
